About Me

Hi, I'm Uğur Demirel.

I started programming during my high school years, and technology has been a major part of my life ever since. I began my professional software development career in 2018 and have been building products ever since. Today, I work primarily within the JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystem as a Full Stack Developer, while dedicating a significant portion of my time to building my own products and pursuing entrepreneurial ventures.

Currently, I work with OBSS and Navlungo, but my long-term goal is to create and grow successful technology products of my own. I'm particularly passionate about SaaS businesses and mobile applications. What excites me most is the process of turning an idea into a real product—from the first line of code to a solution that people use every day.

One of the projects I'm most proud of is Kitap Topluluğu, a social platform built for book lovers. Developing and launching the backend, web application, Android app, and iOS app end-to-end was a significant milestone in my journey. Seeing a product evolve from an idea into something used by real people continues to motivate me to build more.

Outside of software development, I enjoy long walks by the sea, spending time with close friends, and following motorsports. I can spend hours talking about technology, products, and cars without noticing the time pass.

I see myself as a builder at heart—someone who moves quickly, enjoys creating new things, and is constantly working toward bigger goals. My ambition is not only to write great software, but to build products that create real value, reach large audiences, and leave a lasting impact.
